
Andy was a lover of nature and all animals. He was instilled with a lifelong love of sports –notably, baseball (particularly the Atlanta Braves), basketball, and football (collegiate and professional). It was there that Andy formed an extraordinary bond with his Grandfather, as well as his Grandmother. In 1985, Andy, his mother, and brother moved to Morristown, TN and lived with his grandparents, Ed and Louise Tucker.

Andy was a precocious and very bright boy. Born in Spokane, Washington the second son of Robin and Greg Young, Andy was an adventurous child who wanted to keep up with his brother, Josh, who is 6 1/2years older. A kind and tender soul who left this world far too soon. Woody Funeral Home was moved to Laburnum Avenue in 1966 and opened as Richmond’s first garden-type funeral home. Woody continued to serve families of the greater Richmond area from this location until his death in 1958.
